| I have been screened for coeliacs, but negative, though gluten free diet for 2 wks made me feel so much better. diagnosed with ME/chronic fatigue syndrome, but I am sceptical as fatigue improved whilst gluten free. but coeliacs tests negative...why??? also mild reflux, got doctors app this afternoon because neck and shoulders really painful and bones clicking all over..Im only 38 (female). Would be so grateful if someone out there have any suggestions to make! |

Did you make sure you consumed gluten before you went for the test? If you stayed gluten free for some days before the test it will be negative. On the other hand you may be Non Coeliac Gluten Intolerant (NCGI)... you can benefit from Glutenzyme is this were the case.
Read more about false negative results and NCGI:

| Hi there, i too have recently been tested and diagnosed negative. Like yourself I avoided wheat and gluten for approx 3 months prior to testing and was surprised with the results, having felt much better for not eating it. My reflux has completely gone as have the cramping etc, I too have recently developed neck and shoulder pain and in round the collar bone, very uncomfortable in bed. I now have to go back to the doctors for a wheat specific allergy blood test and will let you know the results. My advice to you is avoid it at al costs, one other thing you could trust me on is last thing at night and first thing in the morning is to drink a mug of hot water, you`ll be surprised with the feeling of wellbeing. hope you feel better soon, keep in touch. |

| i also had the same thing, celiac came back negative, but there is a difference between gluten allergy, gluten intolerance, and celiac. if you have an intolerance, it will not show up. see if you can get a blood test that checks for raised levels of auto antibodies. for gluten?? havnt done it yet myself, just learnt about it. but nothing may ever be "proved" if you are better when you dont eat gluten. then keep not eating gluten!! |

Hello
Sounds like its not going so well, it sounds like you are suffering from adrenal burnout syndrome. I got a hair mineral analysis test done by Dr. L Wilson for $400.00 and I highly recommence you get it. Most of america is burnt out basically and Dr. Wilson works as a nutritional therapist after his brother passed due to malnutrition.
In the meantime though get yourself some Quinoa and I have a good recipe for people with sensitive stomachs because mine is pretty sensitive and necessity is mother of invention.
I boil the whole grain Quinoa for 40 min..... then blend it in blender.... then put it back in pot and I bring it to boil again then add in some cold almond milk and or hazlenut milk to add the good fats which help digest the Quinoa.
You can find Quinoa from bobs red mill and the best place to buy it is at Costco ten dollars for four pounds versus at a health food store ten dollars for 1.5 pounds. Also the best place to get almond milk is Trader Joe's because they sell it for only 1.69 per bottle where other places sell for 3.00 The best place to get the Hazlenut milk is Ralphs they just started carrying it this year and you can get it for 2.79 and most times find it on sale. I know this information will help you if you apply it because it saved my life. |
